Why renovate your pool liner?
The liner is the coating that ensures your pool is watertight and looks good. Over time, it can become discoloured, creased, lose its flexibility or even develop small leaks, which can cause further damage. Renovating or replacing a liner not only guarantees a perfect seal, but also gives your pool a new and modern look. It’s an opportunity to choose a new colour or a more upmarket finish, and to extend the life of your pool.
Replacing the liner
The liner is a flexible covering that ensures the pool is watertight. Generally between 0.7 and 0.8 mm thick, it is thinner than reinforced PVC and can stretch or wrinkle over time. In some cases, natural events such as hail can also cause holes or tears. Replacing it restores optimal watertightness and provides an opportunity to modernise the look of the pool with a new colour or texture.
Replacement of reinforced PVC
Reinforced PVC is a particularly durable coating with a lifespan that far exceeds that of a traditional liner. However, like any material, it will eventually wear out or lose its appearance over the years. Replacing reinforced PVC restores perfect watertightness and gives your pool a new finish, with a choice of many modern colours and textures. This may also be an opportunity for you to replace your liner with reinforced PVC.
Is there a leak in your waterproofing?
A damaged liner can sometimes cause water loss, but the leak does not always come directly from the lining. It may be related to the sealing parts, pipes or other elements of your installation. Before considering replacing the waterproofing, it is therefore essential to locate the exact source of the leak. Using appropriate detection equipment, we can accurately identify the location of the leak before carrying out the necessary repairs.
