COVER AND SAFETY
Enjoy your pool safely
A cover is a mandatory device for in-ground pools to ensure safety around the pool. However, it also offers several significant advantages, such as heating, easier maintenance, and reducing water evaporation. Piscine Ambiances offers various types of covers, all meeting the NF P 90-308 safety standard.
Piscine avec Smartcover∂
The Piscine Ambiances Innovation: The SmartCover
The SmartCover∂ is a patented submerged cover that provides an aesthetic and discreet solution for perfect harmony with your pool. When opened, the SmartCover∂ automatically stores itself under the deck and completely disappears, leaving only the lines of your pool visible. The cover is fully concealed, allowing for a uniform look around the entire perimeter, and it can adapt to any type of finish (natural stone, tile, wood, etc.).
The Benefits of the SmartCover∂ :
Easy Maintenance
As the cover unfolds, it emerges from the pool deck as if by magic. This configuration revolutionizes pool maintenance, as impurities are no longer trapped in a confined, hard-to-reach space that often becomes poorly maintained and a breeding ground for bacteria and pollution. The SmartCover∂ encourages the immediate dispersal of debris into the pool, as there is no dividing wall or grating.
Convenient Access
The SmartCover∂ can be accessed from the pool without needing to remove a casing or grate. This also allows you to gain swimming space, as there is no dividing wall between the pool and the cover.
A Uniform Pool Deck
The submerged SmartCover∂ is integrated into the pool during construction, remaining invisible and giving your pool an incomparable aesthetic. Without a casing inside the pool, your deck will have a uniform look around its entire perimeter.
Improved Thermal Efficiency
The submerged cover is the best solution for preventing evaporation and heat loss. Our patented submerged cover provides improved thermal efficiency since there are no exposed gaps behind the cover.
Standard Submerged Cover
The standard submerged cover is usually concealed under a grate or a casing. This type of cover complies with all safety standards. A wall separates the swimming area from the cover area.
To access this restricted zone for cleaning, the grate must be removed. The traditional submerged cover remains effective in terms of thermal efficiency, although some air may enter under the grate.
Electric or Solar Above-Ground Cover
The above-ground roller cover is reliable and convenient, suitable for both new and existing pools. In terms of safety, it complies with the NFP 90-308 standard. A simple turn of a key automatically rolls and unrolls the cover within minutes, as often as needed, ensuring effective pool safety as soon as swimming is over.
The process can be made easier with an end-stop system. Positioned outdoors and facing south, the solar above-ground cover requires minimal sunlight. It features a smaller, harmoniously curved base for reduced ground space and easy installation, even on narrow pool edges. In addition to meeting required safety standards, the pool cover ensures consistently clean water.
Bar Cover
The bar cover perfectly meets the demands of a traditional cover. Equipped with rigid bars around the pool’s edge, the cover is taut, preventing anyone from falling into the water while maintaining cleanliness.
To make opening and closing your cover easier, we recommend using a roller system. This will save considerable time and extend the lifespan of your cover.
