Outdoor pools
Turn your garden into an oasis of tranquility
Although the shape and design of your pool are the key to your project,
It is also important to choose the right equipment for your pool.
These will contribute to the maintenance, safety and comfort of your pool.
Custom pools
You want a unique aesthetic, a specific shape or an infinity pool, with more than 12,000 achievements in 30 years, we have a solid experience for the realization and renovation of customized pools.
Classic pools
The classic pool is characterized by its simple rectangular shape, however it is possible to customize by choosing steps, color of liner, optional equipment, etc.
Urban pools
Urban swimming pools or mini swimming pools perfectly integrate into a small space creating a refreshing cocoon in the heart of the city.
Swimming corridor
Enjoy a surprising length of pool to practice sports swimming directly at home.
Our consultants will perfectly integrate this swimming corridor in an atypical format to your exterior.
Overflow pools
The mirror overflow pools or waterfall provide an incomparable visual effect that enhances their environment.
Regulation of outdoor swimming pools
The construction of an underground outdoor pool is subject to strict regulations.
At Piscine Ambiances, our consultants accompany you in your steps and work with you to prepare a dossier for the prior declaration or building permit so that they perfectly meet the expectations of the competent bodies.
If the pool you want to build is less than 10m 2, no prior request is necessary, except in some protected areas.
In case of doubt you can contact the town hall of your commune to find out if you are concerned.
For a pool of more than 10m2 and up to 100m 2, a prior declaration is mandatory and must be filed with the town hall of your municipality.
Also check your city’s local planning plan (PLU) or municipal map to make sure there are no restrictions on the construction of a buried pool.
For areas over 100 m 2, a building permit is required.
In addition, a safety system is mandatory for your outdoor pool and it must meet the standards published by AFNOR on 10 December 2003.
The 4 possible protection systems are: Protective barriers (NR P 90-306), Alarms (NF P 90-307), Pool shelter (NF P 90-309), Safety cover (NF P 90-309).
Finally, once the pool is built, a tax return of your pool will be mandatory and may lead to an increase in your local taxes.
What are the lead times for manufacturing an outdoor pool?
Many factors can vary the duration of construction work for outdoor swimming pools.
Among them, the weather, the availability of raw materials, the preparation of the site (is the technical room already existing or should it be built at the same time as the pool), the composition of the soil in which the pool will be implanted (in case of presence of large rock the project may be slowed down)…
At Piscine Ambiances, when all the conditions are met, your outdoor pool can be built and filled in just 2 weeks.
Our teams take turns and sometimes even work simultaneously (for example, for the installation of the waterproofing and the installation of the technical room).
In addition, to avoid any unpleasant surprises, we discuss with our customers from the first appointment, the specificities of the field to adapt our equipment.
For custom pools built in traditional masonry, the deadlines are necessarily a little longer but you are announced at the delivery of your quote.
Patented modular system
We offer you an exclusive and patented system of outdoor concrete pools. As a guarantee of durability, the self-supporting structure supports water pressure even in the absence of fill, as well as the pressure of the earth when the pool is empty. Result: very high resistance.
The construction is achieved by assembling modular concrete panels without bolting between the panels. The weight of a panel does not exceed 35 kg in order to facilitate the implementation.
Thanks to its support reinforcements, this structure can also be used as a support for beaches. Two reinforced concrete belts are cast on site ensuring a single-piece assembly, for an unalterable strength of the structure. This technique allows to build custom pools.
